The Music Man Long Beach Theatre reviews
Scotty was great, dispite AARP.
The Music Man was a great performer and his voice was top notch. I got fifth row center seats for The Music Man show at the Golden Nugget as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife, who loves it. He was amazing, even though I don't really like country music. The Music Man and his band were having a lot of fun on stage and had great interaction with the audience. I felt bad for The Music Man that he had been booked at the Golden Nugget Grand. I saw Lisa Marie Presley at this venue when it was Trump Marina, and she even pointed this out and had the actual fans who paid for tickets come up to the stage and not worry about security. I attached a photo to show what I am talking about. I was pleasantly surprised that he played about an hour and forty minutes or so. You'll have a handful of twenty-year-old cowgirls trying to get their The Music Man on, sitting right next to a blue-haired crow who yells at them if they stand or try to have a good time. I guess free tickets to the first show of a platinum-selling artist aren't good enough. For a venue near you, I highly recommend going to the show if The Music Man comes. It ruins the whole vibe for the fans and the band. Usually when I see artists that are on their first tour, they play for an hour twenty. I have seen time and time again at this venue, how they comp tickets to busloads of 80-year-olds, leaving the true fans and the artist in a very uncomfortable predicament. Maybe next time The Music Man can work around their early bird dinner schedule. Lots of energy and a bunch of great songs.
